Battling Bad Breath?

December 19, 2019
Posted By: Dawn katietodds

If you have been suffering from bad breath and you’re looking for a way to address it, you should know that there are two types of bad breath. In other words, the “morning breath” you get every day is different from chronic bad breath - also known as halitosis.

Halitosis is a persistent smell that doesn’t go away after brushing, flossing, and rinsing with mouthwash, which makes it extremely frustrating to put up with. While there are a number of potential causes that create symptoms of halitosis, most of the time the root cause is something totally treatable and that you can fix with some help from your dentist and some new hygiene habits!

So how do you know whether you have halitosis? The best way is to come in and discuss your concerns with Dr. Katie and one of our hygienists. They can help you identify the cause of your symptoms and help make changes!
