Dr. Caroline Jones, DMD
Dr. Caroline Jones, DMD is a wellness-focused general dentist with over three decades of clinical experience, dedicated to helping patients restore and maintain optimal oral health through personalized, biocompatible care. She believes that health begins in the mouth and takes a thoughtful diagnostic approach to identifying the root cause of dental concerns, supporting total body wellness through dentistry that is both conservative and comprehensive. Dr. Jones earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Charleston. She has practiced in diverse clinical settings across the country and is licensed in multiple states, bringing a breadth of experience that informs her comprehensive and adaptable approach to care.
Her clinical scope includes advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry, such as composite bonding, ceramic crowns, veneers, and metal-free prosthetics, as well as surgical procedures and safe mercury removal using the PROTECT protocol. She has extensive experience managing complex cases, including full-mouth rehabilitation for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Jones is particularly attuned to treating patients of all ages, including adults seeking comprehensive restorative solutions and children who benefit from a supportive, individualized approach.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jones has held significant leadership roles, including private practice ownership and serving as a Dental Director overseeing multiple practices and mentoring dozens of doctors. These experiences have shaped her commitment to clinical excellence, ethical care, and continuous professional development.
Dr. Jones has pursued advanced training in wellness-based restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including cosmetic composites, implant dentistry, clear aligner therapy, sedation, removable prosthetics, and safe mercury removal using the PROTECT protocol. Her experience includes comprehensive restorative care for both adult and pediatric patients, with an emphasis on thoughtful, biologically compatible treatment. She was the first dentist in North America certified in the Biofunctional Prosthetic System (B.P.S.) system. A committed life-long learner, she continues to invest in ongoing education to thoughtfully integrate evolving techniques into patient-centered, biologically conscious care.
Dr. Jones is deeply committed to service and has provided care through a range of outreach initiatives, including Operation Smile, the Rhode Island Mission of Mercy, and the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), where she supported underserved communities through both restorative and surgical care. She has also volunteered extensively throughout her career providing dental care to children and community members in need. She served in Hue, Vietnam with Dr. Katie as part of an all-female dental team, helping over 4,500 children ages 5–12 gain access to dental care—many for the first time—an experience she found deeply meaningful.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Jones enjoys playing music, traveling, and spending time with her sons, Hank and Max, along with her dog, Pepper. She values connecting with patients from a wide range of backgrounds and creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for all.
